Help with 1989 IROC Door DECALS

Hey guys I need to buy a new set of IROC-Z door decals for my 89 IROC vert that just had a bare metal respray.. I am aware these are hard to come by?? Anyway, I found a guy on ebay who is selling what he claims to be the correct set for my year.

He lists a part number too. Here is the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Could you tell me if these decals are correct for my car??

Thanks!!

Sean

Do not buy those decals. I was told years ago that the decals have a shelf life of only a few years. It depends on the vinyl and the backing paper, but I've heard 6 years is the most extreme for unused decals. If these were applied to your car, they might stick just fine today, but they will start peeling off realtively soon. You'd be better off getting a new replacement set that has fresh adhesive.

I installed the windshield banner from the 82 Pace Car on my IROC-Z and it lasted about a month before the edges started to curl up. I had to scrape them off.

I would read the bad posts about them in the vendor forum before you order from them.

you can order a set from ecklers or classic.

will cost a little more, but you know they will be good.
