Would not the 1LE option be mentioned on the dealer sticker?

Q: If it's a 1LE where is the RPO code in the window sticker? Becuase I've got a 92 1LE with orginal sticker with 1LE on it. Also, how about a picture of the RPO codes on the inside of the box in the back hatch, sometimes they are on the underside of the center console lid, but usually in the rear.

A: thanks for your question. in 0ct. of 1989 in the ordering guide the 1le package was a option code only. perf. axle G92 code. cost was 675.00. the equipment list is inside of the center console i will try to get a picture on before the end of the week my computer guy is my son in law and he lives 100 miles from me. i do have two factory printouts one from henry dean in the detroit chevy zone and also the final printout from the plt=cpa van nuys plant ( don't ask how we got this report). ha,that in the shorten 1990 year for camaro production that there was 28 1le cars manufactured. one car was never sold. the two reports make for sure that my number sold was 27.i can send you a copy of the van nuys report with somethings blocked off. its saids on the chevy factory report from the plant this,-usage cond. EL98E1LE-C60. MY ORDER NUMBER WAS 234MQK. IN LATER YEARS THEY ADDED 1LE TO WINDOW STICKER.THANKS FOR THE QUESTION FEEL FREE TO CALL ME BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH HISTORY. THANKS JIM OUTMAN.

 

And here I thought a 1LE could not have the IROC decal on the door.

 

a 1990 iroc is already a bit rare as it is.. never mind being a 1le with under 400 miles!

 

Anything could be ordered from the dealer. I've seen 1LE cars with radios and AC!
