I'd say not just on the number of t/a's made that year alone, but the options on the car, condition, mileage ect Not only that but most people looking for a t/a of that year will look for a gta.Just my .02.

I think that number is a bit low.. I have a book on Firebirds and it shows 2,507 TA's produced for '90.. 1990 was an abbreviated year so not many 1990 TA's or regular 'Birds were produced. It was the lowest run for the third generation line.
I don't think many people in the market for a TA right now really care about production figures.. If it had some special shape or engine or feature that set it apart from other TA's it might have some extra value, but at a glance, the 90 TA looks like the 86-89 models. (of course the interior is different with the air bag steering wheel and cup holders in the doors)..
When I bought my 1990 GTA, it was only 4 years old.. I checked out the wholesale book cost of TA's back then and the 90 model prices were a bit more than 89 models and a bit less than 91 models.. Just what you'd expect..
The low production number is an interesting thing, but I doubt it will add much to the price now.. But in the future.. Who knows.
I don't think a low milage '90 will go for much more than a low mileage 89, or 91.. It all depends on the buyer...

I'm weird, I'd pay more for a 90 then any other model year. Here is why, 1990 has the upgraded interior and speed density motor, but the earlier body style
Some transition years rock. My V-6 is a 90, so that may also have something to do with it.
