what is this???

alright im going to feel dumb as hell asking this but im 15 and still learning new things about my thirdgen. I have an 89 formula 350 and I dont have the owners manual, theres a red button that says clifford on it in between the window buttons on the console. This has been a real head scrather trying to figure out what it does?can you guys tell me? thanks alot

Clifford makes alarms, do you have an alarm? That's probably what it is.

nope I dont have an alarm in my car, could this be something that somebody put in the car thats not stock or do all formulas have it?

Maybe there was an alarm and the previous owner took it out. Can you post a pic? I am sure it has to do with an alarm.

Sounds like a valet switch for an alarm from the mid 90s. IIRC I saw a few of those red clifford buttons a long time ago.

Sounds a lot like the "armed" light for the dealer-installed Clifford alarm in my GTA...

chances are its an alarm light. the alarm was probly pulled out cause there crap, and they left the light to fill up the hole that was cut in the dash.
alarms are crap cause there only going to keep honest people out... now a real security system is a 357mag... but thats for another forum...

I have the same thing on my 84, all it is is the armes light, and yes, my alarm was removed, so it's just filling up the hole
