Hey guys,
I might be coming back to a 3rd gen scene.
There is a 89 IROC (??) convertible with a 5.0 and automatic tranny in my town for sale. It has 61K miles on it and the guy says he is the first owner.
I'd buy it to swap a LS1 + 6 speed into it in a year or so so I don't want to pay a whole lot of money for it.
Soooooo what would be the fair price for it?

That all depends on what you are willing to pay for it. Post pics, let us know about any engine, interior, rust, etc problems and we can help you more. Anything is worth waht someone else is willing to pay for it.
