Soemthing fishy with that car... The Odometer sais about 38,000, but the rest of the car sais 100,000 miles, Look at the brake pedal, it has the same amount of wear as my 87 did with 100,000 miles.

I generally consider most thirdgens in NJ to be "fishy" Lol. In my experience there is usually something wrong w/ em!

Hmmm 82-0071-R
I am suprised it is an "R". I thought R's came w/ Recaro seats. (and more perf. add ons than the regular MSE's) It has the stock stearing wheel too

I emailed the guy about the poor discription of the car. He replied it ran 8 months ago and if you win it have planes to do a full restoration. The speed isn't the 160Mile hr. MR like In my 1983 MSE, The steering whell is wrong, The seats are wrong, MSE embles missing from the map pucket and Headling. Also correct me if I'm wrong should the speed have 6 digits. My 1983 only has 5 digits. I think the speedo is out of a new car. And why would some one order a MSE car with the base 305 engine. They had to pay about 5,000.00 dollars more for MSE package.
Also, I don't think the hatch cover was a option in 1982?

Intresting.
It has a carb, and flywheel in the back hatch.
Does it even run?
They say it's a fuel injection car, but why the carb?
I see the "R", but yet the seats match pretty good to the back seats. A whole interior swap?
I'd say, send out to PHS for the documents. If it's a MSE, it should have showed up to Mechan Pontiac in Arizona!

A lot of the 82 MSE's have stock T/A steering wheels, and gauges. You could without a doubt get an MSE with a carb 305. There were many engine options all the way up to a 406 and doug nash 5-speed. Ive seen LU5 MSE's, LG4's, L69's, and 350's. That was the idea. You could start out with basically an appearance package...and go from there. Looks legit to me.
BTW, I have a bunch of MSE parts if anyone is interested.....

Totally a clone. Too many discrepencies.
Also, what's with the fuel injection thing? It's not stock, and there's a carb in the hatch; yet there is something on the motor. So either he thinks its FI when it's a carb, or someone put a TBI motor in it.
I say part it. Unless he can prove it's a true MSE... I don't believe it.
