This is probably an easy-to-answer-for-the-pros, but I just can't figure it out. Here is the deal: my Notchback has a mirror w/o ANY lights in it. Now I am trying to find out if the 88 GTAs had the mirror w/ lights as standard or if it was an option. I personally think that my mirror has been replaced, but I can't prove it and would love to know.

Please bring some light to this investigation

 

My 88 GTA doesnt nor does my friends 88 GTA.But another friends 91 T/A does.So obviously between 89-91 that became standard or optional.

 

Okay, so we know that it was not standard in 88 now, but maybe it was optional and there was an RPO code for it?

I have the D34 RPO, do you have that one on your 88 GTA as well?

 

I will look and get back to you.Its very possible it was optional but i thought the GTAs got pretty much ALL of the options minus T-Tops and leather.Have you checked gtasourcepage.com ?It will tell you if they were even an option at all.
