90 RS how many of them made

Yeah I know to beat arround the bush but I was wondering how many t-top, V8, leather interior, with the auto tranny RS's were made for the 90 model year.

As far as I can recall that their was only 30 or so thousand RS's combined that model year due to the strike.

I just like to know where my car fits into 30 or so thousand made

Thanks!!!

Kat

I can't tell you how many cars were made just like yours, but I can give you the rundown for your individual options...

12,476 T-tops (both IROC and RS)
16,736 305 TBI's (IROC and RS)
31,630 auto trans (IROC and RS)

I don't have the breakdown for leather...for some reason the book doesn't list the option.

The '90 model year wasn't short due to any strike though. GM started the '91 model year January 1st, 1990 because Chevy lost rights to the IROC name at the end of calendar-year, 1989...why they decided to start the '91s so early because of just that is anyone's guess.

No. At what point in the production run your 91 was made won't change anything. Unless you've got something like the very first or very last C4 vette off the production line, the date really doesn't matter.
