How many of these were made??

I have a 1989 GTA,L98/auto with factory t-tops. How many GTA's were made in 89 with the L98 and T-tops? Also, it has the Y84 code on the option sticker in the conole so I know its a real GTA, but my map pocket/glove box dosent say GTA, it only has a small yellow firebird on the lower right corner. Please help with this guys. THX

There is no way to tell how many GTAs in any year were built with L98 and CC1..... see the other posts in this forum about option combinations for more information. Pontiac does not keep production records in this manner.

In 1989, 6,554 GTAs were built with the 5.7L V8 and 6,820 GTAs were built with T-tops.

The glove box Firebird logo you describe is correct for 1989..... only 1987 and 1988 models had the stitched "GTA" logo on the map pocket flap.
