How rare is it??

I have an 84' Z28 Camaro, option L69-(305 HO), pw, pl, leather wrapped wheel and shifter ****, auto, no t-tops, and it has the console on the headliner-you know, the one that came on berlinettas with the flashlight and car phone holder thingy. I was told it was rare because of the console on the headliner because it is a z28 and HO. please tell me. thanks

Its hard to say exactly how rare it is because you can only find records on RPO codes for all camaros not for certain ones with certain engines. In '84 though they made 33,000 cars with the roof console. Its hard to say how rare it is from that too because many of those cars werent Z28s.

Well, in '84 there were 52,457 L69s produced, and all of these are Z28s. I don't care how rare it is...enjoy it!! L69s were great engines, and the car will indeed be worth more someday with the original motor in it, rather than anything else you may throw in.

Now, an '83 Z28 is a whole different story!!Only 3,223 L69s were made in '83.

drive it... the only rare thing about it is that its a relatively fast 305... faster than most all the other stock 305's. Its not really unusual. Enjoy the car.
