What yaer did the RS comeout/was it available with a 350tbi??
To the general public 89 was the first year for the RS. It replaced the Sport Coupe.
No thirdgen was ever made with a 350tbi.

87 was the first year, and only with a V6 engine, and only in CA (and FL?). In 88 the RS was an upgrade to the Sport Coupe, available everywhere with a V6 or V8 TBI. In 89, the RS was the only base model Camaro available, and that continued till 92.

As Drew said, no third gen ever got a 350 tbi. 350 tbi was only available on certain models of trucks and I believe some certain full-sized Impala/Caprices.
