I know this has probably been asked before and i will be told to do a search but i did and i couldnt find anything..i just want to know what all it takes to put 350injectors on a 305 and is it worth it....i know i will need a fuel pressure regulator and 350tbi injectors...will i also need to get my chip re-done...any help will be nice....even if you have tips on searching the site better....thanks

 

There is no benifit on a stock LO3 to add larger injectors. To do so you would need to do the necessary chip work to dial them in (duty cylce, injector constant, fuel pressure ect ect.)

 

its not a stock engine...and if i go int virtualengine2000 and put it my specs it says i need injectors pushing around 60lb/hr so i think 350 will be just fine....but what all do i need to do to make 350 injectors work in my 305

 

to make them work, you put them in the injector pod and plug them in basically

to make them work to their potential and engines potential you will have to do what shifty said

havent run it... i didnt get it tuned in time for the end of the season, now its like 95% tuned and i have a couple months to get it 100% for the track... dyno in march though

do it yourself... youll be happy that you did in the end because you will be able to datalog and change different things until you feel the tune is 100% . by going with tbi chips or someones mail order chip you are limiting yourself toa one time tune where the tune is what they belive is correct for the car w/o the chance of future correction of the tune that isnt right for the setup IE rich lean @ WOT, or not enough timing/too little timing or a lot of different things... plus you get an understanding of how the engine reacts to different modifications

Without it your 383 would be useless. You will be much happier in the end when you spend less, learn a system, and make your car run perfect.

 

what do yall think is a good price for tuning stuff...i know someone who will sell me everything i need to tune my car minus the laptop for 250....the software...the cable...and the burner

91rs305tbi, I'd consider the EBL if you are buying new stuff now.
