I have a 1988 Z28. And I would like to first say that I don't even think it is a REAL Z28. But my question is, how can I figure out exactly what my car came equipped with? The last owner had the interior re-done and this left me with no list of RPO Codes on the center cosole lid. Any help is greatly appreciated. And please don't tell me the VIN # because that has gotten me no where. Thanks a bunch, JAY

 

Well, you can try taking the vin to the dealership and see if they can tell you the options from that info... but chances are you're out of luck.

first off, there were no 88 z28's. The Z28 name was not used from 88-90, in favor of the IROC-Z name.

What engine is in the car? what's the engine (8th) digit on the VIN #?
