SLP option in 91

Hi can I find out if my 91 Formula was ordered with the SLP performance option? This is what the car has on it: headers, exhaust, high flow runners, injectors, cold air induction. I was told by the owner that everything is from SLP. I did some checking on the SLP website and all the parts that are on the car look the same as on the site so I do believe the previous owner. I am just wondering if there is a way to know if the car was ordered with the SLP option (I know it was available in 91) or if the parts were just put on. Another question: The car comes with all the original parts that were taken off, it currently has rims and tires from a 91 GTA but included are 5 original formula wheels with the original gatorbacks. It is in showroom condition and has 38k original miles. I paid $7300 for this car.......did I pay too much???? Thanks

The SLP Performance Package was a dealer installed option...they were never installed from the factory. Your parts sound right for the package...it should also have an SLP Perfomance Chip installed. If your car is in excellent condition with 38K miles on it and you got all the original parts with it including the wheels I'd say you got a fairly decent deal. My '91 also came with the SLP Performance package on it, and it currently has about 14K miles on it. Even without the SLP T-ram and Ronal Firehawk wheels I wouldn't let it go for less than $10K. Sounds like you got a really sweet ride there.

Happy Motoring...
