I Picked up an Early third gen project car recently it was from down south and had no rust what soever and i picked it up really cheap it had the tranny which was a 4 speed manual and no engine... i was just wondering what engine might that car have had???? and if maybe the rear end has a posi center section to swap into my 89.....


Any help Greatly apprecitated

The engines could have been one of the following: LG4, L69, or LU5 ... like drew said, check the vin, but easiest way to tell if its LU5 or would be the hood, cause the vents will open up other engines just had the "for looks" style vent thingies hehe

Might wanna swap to a T5 or T56 and try to snag a 305 from a different year camaro or bird...thats probably your best bet...but if you wanna keep the tranny go for it

Or...if its a Z28... gimme the nose
