HP question

In 85 the 305 tpi in an auto is rated at 215 but in 89 it is rated at 195. What is the cause for this horsepower decrease?

In 86 the LB9 got the $hitty LG4 or "peanut"cam which dropped hp 25 to 190.In 88 5 more hp was added do to the use of a roller cam.

What cam was used in the 85tpi?

The L98.Go to the tech data section for a comparison of the 2 different cams.

So if i get an L98 cam ill have 215hp in my 89 iroc?

Engine: 5.7 Tuned Port Injection

Transmission: 700R4 Auto

Axle/Gears: BW 9-Bolt 3.27

U can get a cam that will make even more power than that cam.
