Did you know...?

I was checking out this book Camaro by Anthony Young at Barnes N Noble the other day. It's a really cool history of the camaro. I had to laugh when I saw that when engineer Denny Davis wanted a "sexy" RPO code for the 83 HO 305, the joking answer was L69? It stuck.

Yep, that's true. They weren't happy with the original engine code and asked for something with more sex appeal. They were given the code L69 and it stuck.
