Wow!!! Well it's about time.

well it appears that these are available now. I found some on Ebay and I guess I'll pass. I usually buy the limited edition cars for my collection and the detail is much better. These things just look cheap!! They didn't even do the colors correctly. Check out the headlight area. It should be black. Hopefully somebody else will do the 3rd gen and do a better job!!

I have two Ertl diecast Camaros. One is a red 84/85 Z28 and the other is a 80/81 Z28. Both have the opening doors/hood. Found one at an antique store in Ohio.

I just got the 1/18th '82 Z's by Sunstar today;red,white and dark blue metallic.They look good except they didn't paint the headlight pockets and front turn signals.T-tops are removable.

My 82Z28 diecast came in on Friday. I have to say that the detail is very good, the car looks EXACTLY like my first 84 Z I bought. I'm very pleased for the price. While these might not fetch to much for collectors, for any Z fan they look very nice on the desk or ontop of the puter monitor.

I just bought a red one and i think i will get a pace car next.

I found one of the Johnny Lightning 1:64 scale die casts at Walmart a couple months back. It was a yellow 85 model though. It was the first thirdgen Camaro diecast I'd saw in ages so I got bought it. For $3 I couldn't go wrong.

that's awsome, i would love to see a 91-92 type model, i like to see the 82's but i would like to see some more popular 3rd-gens like the irocs and such
