T-Top Seal Replacement
T-Top Seal Replacement
This past summer I bought and replaced my T-Top seals with a GM kit- I improperly put in the passenger seal and now have an acute leak. I'm looking to buy and entire kit - driver and passenger - any suggestions. I understand TA Creation in Miami has a nice seat that also replaces the T-top side trim too. Any testimonials or links would be appreciated. ALso could use some help if there is anyone in mid-Tennessee.

I got porked for $300 for a soff-seal kit from Summit. I don't see where it's any better than a stock set.

The soff seal kit for the 83 Z from classic industries isn's too bad cost wise. It fit perfect and looks good. The original rubber from NPD for my 81Z cost almost 2X as much, the fit was terrible (the only good thing is it doesn't leak) and the rubber was cracking before it was a year old in spite of the frequent cleaning and armor all. Next time I do the 81Z it'll be with a soff seal kit.
