I was just browsing the web when I came across this item, a 1983 Callaway Camaro 2 seater Z28 V8...Is this guy pushing my leg or are these cars for real?

I never thought ther was such a thing.There were some LT1 Camaros massaged by Callaway in 94 and called a C8,but I never heard of callaway doing anything with them before that.

I suppose its possible. I've seen some of these convertible conversions before, but never heard of a Callaway version. You might want to contact Callaway directly if you are seriously interested. If legit that is probably a steal at that price.

its legit... there was one floating around on ebay for awhile... idiot didn't know what he had though... "Factory 1983 Z28 Convertible" yadda yadda... toneau cover, etc... blah blah blah... sold it for $2500 and someone else turned around and sold the exact one for $7500

No S**T..... I just posted about my 2 seater hard top convert roadster z28 Camaro.... It should be right below your post as soon as i a fin here.... wow that is funny.... I have an 85 but Callaway did not make them as far as i know ... the company was AutoForm and they did the mods for GM.... i understand from 84-87 but i guess they started in 83... no S**T.... could you send me the info you saw on this Camaro... E-Mail it to E6V6I6L_1@HOTMAIL.COM.... my post below is looking for others who have one or know anything about them.... i have had my Roadster for 3 years now and know just a little more about it know that i did when i first got it.... GM has -0- info on them they show up in no books.... I was told that due to the low production #'s it was a one off... I was told there are only 30 of the 85 were produced... there are also Firebirds that are the same but i have -0- info on them.... check out my post... and get back to me.....
