Old Camaro Better Than New

Hey Everyone

Yesterday I finally put the finishing touches on my 1986 IROC-Z. Now that the Car is totally complete, I can take a step back and admire the the beauty of my car. Then I think back to all the time and effort I put into the car, the problems I solved and the events that have passed. Then I look at the total cost of the car, that would be about $11 325 dollars Canadian (about $5700 American) So now I have an old Camaro that is better than new and cost less then a new Hyundia. The point of all this is that restoring any Third Gen car is the best thing that anyone who is a Fan of RWD V8 performance can do.

heck yeah i'll second that. my dad and i bought my 86 IROC wrecked. we replaced the fenders, hood, and core support, and nose piece. my dad is a body man and he squirted on a beautiful paint job. i have but it back together and upgraded all the worn out interior stuff accept the headliner. the car has a real strong 305(6.5 sec 0-60 mph), fresh paint job, new interior stuff, pioneer stereo and sony speakers, and the whole car has only 40,000 miles on it. i have a grand total of $5,000 in it!! you can't beat that!!
