Greetings, all. I looked at an 89 IROC convertible today, and it has me stumped. The body is a normal Camaro (well, a convertible), the wheels are gold crosslace with WS6 center caps from a T/A or GTA. The dash is digital - I have never seen one, but I am betting it is out of a GTA. It has a little computer theing in the center with a self diagnostic button and such. The center console is definetly from a T/A or GTA. The seats are black leather - they have the ribs on the side - are these called the contour bucket seats? The VIN on the car is 1G1FP2186KL146855. Since the VIN is for a coupe, this is probably a conversion of some sort. I couldn't find the RPO tag anywhere (go figure!). It has 4 wheel disk brakes and posi. It is also an automatic. I was just wondering if anyone could help speculate on the cars origin, or why it has a T/A - GTA interior. Did this ever happen? Thanks in advance for the help guys!

Sounds like a Camaro coupe that someone turned into a 'vert and used an '88 GTA interior.....

I can more than assure you that this is not in anyway factory.

It was a coupe, the 2 should be a 3. Sounds like the interior out of my 87 GTA.

The reason you can't find the RPO list, is b/c it was in the original center console.

It is a very modified Camaro Coupe, if its done real nice, then I say go for it.
