I just bought a 350 dash out of a 91 Z. The needles on it are yellow. The needles in my 92 are orange. What gives, I thought all 90-92 were the same as far as needle color goes. I looked real close and they are not faded.

I think the the rs has yellow needles. My 91 is a z28 but I had to order RS face inlays for it. My needles are also yellow, but I took them off and sanded the backs and used a paint marker to make them orange.

OK then, how hard is it to swich needles, I can always take the needles out of my 92 dash and put them in the new 140mph dash can't I? For $20, I had to buy it.

you'll lose the calibration if you take the needles off. Unless you are good at getting them to read accurately again, I wouldn't do it.
I think it was more of GM running out of the yellow and putting the orange in. There is no correlation between RS and Z28 having either color. I've seen both. The 93's had orange or yellow needles, can't remember. Were they the same?

I guess I will just put the dash in as is. It would be nice to put my odometer in it, but I can't figure that out either.
