Is This Really a TTA?

VIN # is 1G5FW2178KL237294
When I ran it through the decoder, it gave off some weird info. Can you guys help me out before I go and even attempt to buy it?

Thanks!

The 8th digit is a 7, and the 10th digit is a K, thats an 89 TTA as far as I know.

I ran it through the VIN decoder at:

http://www.li.net/~rsalerno/ttahome.htm

and it came back as TTA #305, so I guess its real.

See the above site for more info.

By the way, what are they asking for it? Any other details?

Vman,

If you haven't already, check out GNType.org and Turbobuick.com for some helpful hints on what to look for when purchasing a Turbo Buick. They can be tempremental, but running easy 12s for about a grand without "another" power adder is cool. I've got an 87 GN I hope do be doing that with soon.

The TTA door and windshield decals are available as reproductions. The other documentation can be had, but would be expensive to put together. The TTA specific emblems, interior items, plug wires, and other parts are pricey too if you can find them.

Good luck.
