What does the "Z" stand for in Chevy vehicles and what do the numbers after represent. Also, are there other Z's besides z-28, z-24, z-71, z-34 ¿ Thanks.

Those are regular production option codes. Other famous Z's are ZL1, ZR1, Z51, Z06, Z82 and the occasional Z27.
It's an RPO prefix for an upgraded performance package available for a particular model of car or truck. Sometimes it's nothing more than stripes, decals, mouldings, and/or groundeffects; but lotsa times include engine and suspension upgrades.
