WS6 Firebird

I'm not too familiar with Firebirds/TA's, so what is the WS6? I know the 4th gen's have a WS6.

WS6 is the RPO code for a "handling package" consisting of stiffer springs, larger antisway bars and better rims and tires. In some years it could also contain a better steering gearbox, from what I understand. The 4th gen WS6 also includes the cold air induction for added performance, which makes the option more visible.

I have owned 2 WS6 enhanced Firebirds and I have had alot of fun driving them. This one, I replaced the stock springs with Eibach's Pro set and added Monroe Sensatrac shocks. I really like what it did for the turns, without detracting much from the ride.

just a few additions. The different power steering box came with all cars with 16" wheels. Also, you could get WS6 on cars without gfx (the formula), and on ta's, both thirdgen and fourthgen. Although all the fourthgens have similar gfx.
