post some details about it if you can... mileage, whats been done to it, etc.
83's are not overly rare... but to find them in good condition with a reasonably low amount of miles on them, is pretty rare in itself.

well it is not so rare but very unique and will be a collectible. It is the first year for the H.O.. Only a little over 3,000 were made. The first car that performance actually returned to. Check with some one on this board who has a friend that just saved one from the junkyard and is restoring it right now

I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT

That would be me. I love the car and going from my LS1 it is a nice car to drive with out going way down in performance. BTW the car is coming along great. It gets attention almost every night. We have picks of it when I first got and up through now Jason will be posting soon...

Hehe, I gotta admit while it looks REAL rough, Matt's L69 is fun. What kills me is that he gets better gas mileage with a 170k V8 than I do with my 2.8
I happened to find this car by accident...a REALLY junky car dealer had it in the Auto Shopper for $600. I went by, saw it had the "5.0 liter H.O." on the dash and the back bumper, saw it had a 5 speed (L69s were 5 speed only in '83), and saw the dual snorkel air cleaner. $450 later, it was Matt's. Its gonna be a LONG road, but when it's finished, Matt will have a helluva car.
He gets mad when I say this, but even in its present condition I like it better than his '00 T/A
