15th Anniversary Q's

I have a 15th Anniversary T/A with 32,000 miles on it. It is a strong #2 car and I plan on showing in some local shows soon. I'd like to have the build sheet to put on display with the car. Does anyone know where to find this? Does the locations vary?

Also, They only made 1,500 of these cars but for some reason I can't seem to find a "following" for this car like the '79s and '89s. Anyone know why? To me, it is a beautiful car which is unique and rare all in one. There isn't even a registry for these cars. I hope someone can shed some light on the 15th Anniversarys.

Thanks.

You certainly have a nice ride there. It has some neat things that seperate it from the rest of the crowd. The 16" rims were first used on Firebirds in 84, the 15th Anni was the only bird that got em along with the Corvette Gatorback tires.

84 produced 2 Limited Editions, yours and the Recaro.

There is a direct connection from your ride to mine, alot of the items from the 15th Anni
were placed into my 85 TA, along with some great improvements

Here is a link to my photo host for details:

Also kizz has started a great community with his web site :

Although it specificaly highlights his most awesome 82 Recaro TA, I think you will fit right in because you have the killer seats !

You can call yourself WhiteRider lol J/K

Take Care !

Jeff, I love these particular Anniversary cars personally. The build sheet could be just about anywhere in the car..... if it was put in there at all. Under the carpet and in the seat cushions seem to be the most common locations on 3rdGen cars. But it might be anywhere.....

I agree with this comment too..... people treat these models kind of like stepchildren or something. They are great cars indeed..... the 16" rims and tires, the 5.0L HO engine, the "look-at-me" paint scheme..... it all is great. I bet there are fewer of these still around than the other Anniversary cars as well. Maybe you should make it your mission to get these great cars more recognition.....

Congratulations on this excellent find, and I hope you continue to keep it in this condition.

That is a sweet 84! Those cars are a rare breed. There was one in my town in NJ when I was growing up--every time I saw it tho the kid would tack something cheesey on it--car looked like hell when he was finished. Hopefully someone saved it.

15th T/As have always been one of my favorite 3rd gens. The combo of the paint scheme, L69 and the debut of 16s made it an awesome car. I actually have a Motor Trend road test of a 15th T/A...if you have any questions about its contents, feel free to email me.
