88 rs ?
I have a 88 white rs camaro . However in an issue of history in the Camaro Performers the rs was not made in 88. Only camaros with ground effects that say Camaro .in 1987 there were limited production rs camaros produced for california and Florida as market test cars ,These rs equipped camaros had the Z28 nose , ground effects , rear spoiler , Z28 wheelsand multiport fuel injection.Thats my car except its an 88 it has white rs wheels like 91s have . I have the original window sticker and it states 88 and states RS option on it , then states all the above that it was equipped with including white rs wheels ..1989 was the first real production year of rs's where they had many on the road .Does anyone know if this was just an option ordered on mine or what ? I have seen no other RS 88 camaros before .Whats up with this car ? Thanx , Wayne

I answered all questions about the fact that the RS was introduced in California only in 1987 and was sold in California, Florida and Texas in 1988 BEFORE it became a "regular" production car.
