Ok Willie, heres one for you...

There was an IROC available early on that had a one piece t-top similar to the one in the Corvette (no t-bar). It was a factory item, and I always thought that IT was the California Camaro (but obviously it isn't). I don't know for sure if it was ever released to the public or not, but I thought it was a limited production item. I have a picture of one hanging in my garage, and its been bugging the **** out of me lately. Can't tell from the picture if it is an '85 or an '86. Thought you might know, so that I don't have to go digging through all of my piles of old magazines to find it.

If it is a 86 it had the CHMSL and if it is an 85 it does not have the CHMSL

There was an AFTERMARKET company making targa top conversions. The Simon & Simon TV show used one. They were not ever offered as a factory option. These things are weak enough as it is with t-tops. Take that section out and the car will cave in.
