missing rpo codes from console

missing rpo codes from console
i have a 86 iroc, and the rpo sticker is missing from the console. does anybody know how to find the rpo codes with just a vin? thanks, tom

My understanding is that you cant get the rpo's from the vin. You may find a build sheet under the seat, good luck. I have a 1984 rpo sheet as the console was changed and my car is a 1985.

I emailed Chevrolet, I gave them my VIN and they said they would research my car. They also told me they would try to find where the car was sold so I can contact the dealer. The Rep seemed to thing they could still get info for my 86 iroc. Hopefully I will get some answers from them.

thanks everyone for your help. i removed the drivers seat a few weeks ago to weld the power seat (left rear plate cracked in half) i removed the sheets under the seat. only found two sheets which were torn in half at best. so out of luck with that. could barely read anything on the sheets (everything faded). thanks again and keep us posted on any new info. tom

If you go to the Dealer and ask them real nice and the parts guy doesn't wanna be a ***** they can get your RPO'S from your VIN#
