August 26, 1987 Fourteen years ago today the CPC Norwood Plant closed it's doors forever. Let's all take a moment to remember the men and women of UAW local 674 who helped build our beloved third-gens.

Didn't they build 1st gen F bodies in Van Nuys? I have a book that states this.

The orginal Camaro plant was norwood. Van Nays was brought on line during the 1967 model year to make the f-bodys for the west coast states and keep up with demand. Also just a note, all of COPO cars made in the First generation were only built at the norwood plant. Both of my Camaros were made at the norwood plant.
