1992 25th RS
i've heard this i dont know how many times now and i still dont know if it's true or not.did the RS ever come with the lb9 tpi motor in 1992(other than the B4C police package).all production #'s quote them as having been equipped with the 170hp tbi LO3 motor.i need accurate info here guys and can't find it anywhere.thanx in advance.

87 trans am,gm crate 350(4 bolt mains 10to1),L98 aluminum heads,LT4 hot cam,slp runners,slp 1 5/8 headers,3in.y-pipe,edelbrock base,hi flo cat,air foil,afpr,as&m ported plenum,gutted airbox,t-5 tranny w/centerforce clutch and a 3.27 9bolt(11.9in. brakes),ed wright's fastchip,relocated iat sensor,160 fan switch&t-stat,tb bypass,accel supercoil,cap& rotor,slp 3in. catbcak,a/c delete.
car has found a new home
she will be relocating soon,thanx to all that were interested and the few who had purchased some of the many,many extra parts i had accumulated over the years.

The 91 and 92 rs did not come with the tpi engines, only in the b4c package, as you stated.
There were 39,142 L03 engines produced in 92!!!

To add to Manny's comment, the RS came standard with the V6 engine. The 305 LO3 was an option.

Former Paxton (6-psig) with 50-hp nitrous: 12.043 @ 112.86 mph.
ATI D1SC (10-psig): 12.056 @ 116.62 mph.
All stats are altitude corrected for 3,100 feet using NHRA's Altitude Correction Table.
