I have a 91 firebird with a 305 tbi in it. The vin decoder on this site doesn't say it's a formula but the insurance company and the dealer I took it to to fix the damage to the rear end said it was a formula. It has the extra side moldings on it. I was wondering if it was supposed to have "formula" stickers on it, and where they would go. Also they are having problems aligning the top of the hatch with the car. Do other people have rear hatches that the body shop couldn't get flush with the rear fenders? Just rear of the glass it is down a good half an inch or more and the rear edge is up a little.

 

What extra side moldings are you referring to...if it's the aero package you're referring to, the Formula did not come with the aero package like the Trans Am. There was an aero package option for the base Firebird in '91. Also, does it have the TA style whale tail spoiler or just the narrow wing. The Formula used the TA style spoiler and also had the power bulge hood.
