History / OriginalityGot a question about 1982-1992 Camaro or Firebird history? Have a question about original parts, options, RPO codes, when something was available, or how to document your car? Those questions, answers, and much more!
So steveR...did you ever buy that '89 GTA convertable. So was it a factory GTA? Let me know...I was interested in actually giving that guy a call on that car...but since you seemed to really want it I didnt want to buy it and sort of steal it from you. I am located in Suffolk County, Long Island....so I saw that car listed in the classifieds. Let me know...I have been waiting to find out.
Yeah, I got it ASAP. I looked at it in the morning, and left the deposit. It's a real ASC car, too. It's got the L98, flame red outside, tan leather interior, but it has a few dents, nothing major. Definitley worth the investment. Oh yea I saw a '91 GTA convertible in the paper last week, maybe you'd want to check that out?
In any event I need to know where to find replacement parts for the ASC's, like if the camaro parts will work.
I’m a new owner of one too. It’s an 89 GTA white with grey leather that I found out Nevada. I saw one brand new as a kid on the strip at the Jersey shore and wanted one since but they’re hard to find. Mine needs some work and a tan interior but so far it’s coming along well.
