i have a 1982 z28 indy500 pace car rep.
its got most of the orignal parts except the paint. does anyone have a pic of this car and a list of all the options it came with?

 

There are pictures of our cars throughout the web, you should be able to find them through a search engine. I don't know the full/official list of options available on the cars, but it is pretty standard- 305 was the largest engine, either cross-fire injection or carb. You could get power windows and locks, console clock, ERS sound system, fiberglass hood, etc. Would have to check the shop manual for the entire list, but these are the major ones, except for the trannies- mine is a 3-spd auto. I think most of the 6000 replicars came with the majority of the decal package as well- Z28 stripes, hood decals, "camaro" banner on front and rear glass, Indy500 door decals and sail panel decals.

 

The 82 Pace car came stock with the 2 tone paint and the striping. The door decals, B-pillar decals and windshield decals were all boxed in the trunk to be installed by the dealer if the customer wanted. It had the availability of all Z28 options including the cross-fire injected LU5 motor. The Lu5 was only available as an auto. The tranny in 82 was a 4 speed manual, not the 5 speed, posi was an option and so were the TTops. The interior was Pace Car specific with silver surrounds on blue fabric.

My father has an 82 Pace Car w/ 4 speed, TTops, PW, PL, ERS sound, and 20k original miles.
