Thanks for the pics, specifically I'm looking for the cars that used the typical base model firebird seats. The ones I've seen have been in base model firebirds, SE's and T/A's.

Thats more along the lines of what I'm looking for. Specifically I need pictures of the back seat area... the speaker grills, the bottom seat cushions and the rear bench. Does anyone have one of these cars that they can go snap some pics of for me?

anyone have more detailed pictures of this type of two tone interior? I'm looking for pictures of original interiors, this wasnt done aftermarket. I've seen them in red, tan, and black... any pictures would be helpful.

if its the two tone (ie red and gray, black and gray, brown and gray, etc) then I'd like pics... I mainly need pics of the bottom cushions in the back seat... and just general interior trim... I have pics of the doors, and front seats, basically I just need to see the back seat in detail, the speaker grills, etc.

i dont have any pics , but i have seen several,like you're talking about. i think that was only a early 80's thing. (84-87)

 

Here is a picture of an 86TA rear interior.

 

Hope the above picture helps. I have also had a car (86TA) with the red/gray interior. I can't find detailed pictures but the speaker grilles, carpet and all plastic trim were all red (I still have most of the pieces in my garage)

 

On the cushions in the back, does the dark gray stripe go all the way to the bottom? or does it have the dark gray around the sides and front? Can't really tell from the pics.

 

The dark gray cloth is only on the top center portion of the bottom seat cushion. The front and sides are light grey. The lower left corner of the picture that you posted shows the color change for the bottom portion. Here is a copy of a buildsheet for a car with red/gray interior.

 

If you are making repro seat covers, why dont you do the dirty work yourself and check out some seats in a junkyard?

 

Obviously because there aren't any in the junkyards around here. If there were I wouldn't be asking here.

 

On the 2 tone gray seats the stripes don't go all the way to the floor--the lower part of the seats(rears)has the lighter gray around it. I had those same seats in my 86--but I sold them.

 

What year and color combination are you trying to restore?
