updating a 91 z28
Here's what I have 91 Z28 350tpi.
It's been sitting in my garage for the last 10 years and this year it's gonna run. It only has about 24000 original miles on it and the paint is like new. I've purchased some edlebrock heads, some stock, aluminum heads from a 91 zr1 (which are being ported, polished and built right now) and a cam. I'm gonna be purchasing an msd box, distrubutor, cap, rotor, wires and plugs very soon. I'm starting the tear down this weekend. I'm used to brakes, light maintenance and some front end but this is a realm I've never dove into so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot!!

Sorry about posting in the wrong thread.
I made a mistake about the headers...they are headman I believe and now I'm a bit worried about the heads. I bought them from a guy who said they would work...didn't pay much for them initially but now getting them built is costing a bit. The number on them is 10088113...other numbers are 7329 and 7387. Maybe he had the application wrong. Will these work??

113 heads are aluminum heads used on a regular TPI Corvette, not a ZR1. Of course, this is good news to you, because a ZR1 uses a completely different motor.
The 113 heads, when worked on by a guy who knows what he's doing, are very good heads. In stock form they're "eh", but can be ported to match the flow of a set of AFRs, provided the guy doing the porting knows what he's doing.

Whew!! Thanks for the info guys I really appreciate it!! I don't know the guys who's doing the heads but he came very highly recommended...for anyone in the MI area it's Gregs Cylinder Head in Riverview. He said initially they would fit but hey ya never know he may have just wanted to make a buck then I'm stuck. I will have some pics shortly! Within the next couple weeks I'm hoping to have it running!! This forum is awesome. I spent two hours printing and reading last night. Teardown starts Sat!!!
