I am looking at a 82 camaro pace car with a 4 speed manual in pretty good shape. Can anyone tell me where I can go to get stats on this car...like how many were made, how many had manuals vs automatics, etc.

Price is good but needs work. Does anyone know how hard it is to get interior parts for this car?

The interior is gonna be somewhat tough since some of the parts were one year only and in a color that isn't often seen. The seat material is being reproduced, but without the headrest embroidery on the drivers seat. I don't know if the door panels are being repro'd yet.

There isn't any correct documentation on how many cars were made in what configuration. However, the rare 4 speed that everyone talks about seems to be not-so-rare. You'll find more 4 speed cars than autos. Total production was 6360. There were very few with the 4 wheel disk brakes, so that would make it a rare build. Also, most of the cars had ttops, so the hard tops are fewer in numbers also.
