My Camaro RS?

Well after I relised this today i got to thinking. I dont think my camaro is an RS. Its an 1988 and theres no badges for RS anywhere on the car. LO3 engine automatic. Any ideas? Was there just a camaro?

1989 was the first year the RS's went into mass production and were the only base Camaro available. Before that, in 1987 and 1988, they were limited production. There was a regular Camaro, called the Sport Coupe. Also 1988 was the first year for the L03 TBI engine.

Ah ok so I guess I'm a Sports Coupe. I thought that RS was the base for longer than that. Is it basically the same thing, an RS and a sports coupe?

Some sport coupes did not, but that was pre-88.
