I bought an '86 Z28 new and sold it about 10 years ago and always regretted it. So, I bought a really rough one back in February that I want to restore as close to original as I can. My first question is... The rocker panel emblems, the ones on the car now are red, med. red and dark red. I'm wondering if they are original or maybe they came off of a different year. Everything I can find for an '86 has only silver/gray emblems. Does anyone have an original '86 with the red emblems?
