I bought a '91 Formula in Decemeber of '02 with 9k miles, all documents and all. I transfered the title with my bill of sale and car had 9k miles on all documents. Now I just got title in mail after paying it off and the dumb a#$ state of Florida put 90,785 miles on title and when I called the tag agency where I did it they said it was not there fault. Now I am trying to contact the div of motor vehicles to correct it, so far nothing put answering machines and crap. Stay out of florida anyone out there, it is a damn junk state. Andy

 

Take the car to the DMV and have them verify the actual mileage. They have to fix it.

 

in oregon at least, once the ar is more then 10 yrs old the mialage is considered "assumed" anyway, and they no longer stand by it, they also won't lift a finger to help you with anything ever.
