3:27's without g92 code?
My 88 formula i believe has 3:27's in it but on the RPO tag there is no G92 code. The car spins about 2600-2700 RPM between 75 and 80mph. And when the car was stock it ran 14.7 in the quarter, i dont think it could have done that with 2.77's. does anyone have any ideas? The car only has 52k on it and i purchased it from the original owner completely stock.

Or your tac is not accurate. I ran a 14.8 bone stock with 2.77's, and I had traction problems. Easily could have been a 14.7.
All 87-89 Formula 350s came with 3.27s stock. You couldn't get 2.77s. G92 does not appear on my invoice or SPID either, just G80 for limited slip. There's usually a tag on the rear axle secured by one of the nine differential cover bolts listing the axle ratio.

you guys were right. G92 is the code for camaros equipped with 3.27's. Firebirds used code GW6 to signify 3.27's. I checked out 3rdgenformula.net, theres a ton of good info there so check it out if you havent already.
