Data Sticker Under Dash

I removed my dashpad today to remove the stock speakers, and I found a neat sticker from the factory. Can anyone tell me what it is?

Ok, cool, thanks for the info.

Any idea what the text on it means (the letter/number combos, I mean). Those aren't RPOs, are they?

lol, well maybe this is boring for you other guys, but I thought it was cool. On my older Pontiacs, finding stuff like this was like finding gold, since over the decades they were removed, got wet, disintegrated etc.

Thanks for the help.

you would be surprised what you can come across sometimes

i am the same exact way i love coming across bits like this in vehicles, i save it all, i have folders and drawers and all kinds full of old stuff from vehicles over the years, protecto plates, warranties, all kinds of other stuff too, mainly all old chevies and some other GM stuff from the 60s and later, i save all keys for GM products i come across, i have cans of them, it has saved me many times when i didnt have a key for a vehicle that i got i just go through the key cans til i find one that works, its funny, no need for a locksmith around here

good luck

I like the way it tells you the exact date and time of the test. Let's you know a little history of when and what was happening to your ride as it was being built.

Cool!

There are tags like that all over in various GM vehicals. Basically as the car came down the assembly line, subassemblies were assembled and tested to insure they were working properly before the car continued down the line and a repair became more difficult. Examples in thirdgens would be like the instrument panel sheet you found, or the interior build sheet on the bottom of the front seats, or behind the radio, between the gas tank and the body, etc... Fiero's have build sheets on the doors under the door panels so the line workers knew whether the car would have power locks, power windows, etc.
