Wonderbar Question

I pulled this wonderbar from a 1985 Iroc.It is different from the stock GM Wonderbar as it has an extra hole on each end.Can someone tell me if this is an aftermarket wonderbar and if so who made it

Those "extra" holes look small in diameter than the rest of the holes. Does anyone think they might allow even less movement? Does the wonderbar just being bolt in not as effective because it's not welded in? I'm just applying the same reasoning as bolt on SFCs vs welded in SFCs. Is this reasoning correct?
