Sun-Star used to make one, an 82 Z28 to be exact, I have the White version.
I am going to move this to the history board, as it really has ne relevance to merchandise...

Check Ebay. You can find models of either Firebird or Camaro in just about any configuration you can imagine. There are also various diecasts and promo models out there. Most of the plastic variety go for under $20.

Actually the only thing you really have a plethora of is the plastic model kind, Finding a 1/18 or 1/16 Diecast of a 3rd gen is a lot harder than finding the real deal.

buy those suckers up because they are getting hard to find now..
the only larger scale i have is a 82 pace car. i bought it because i thought it was old and try to buy up thirdgen things but sunstar just released it this year. i hate the 82 and everything about those early style thirdgens, with the popularity of the irocs and 91-92's i'll never understand why there are so many models of that style. it's no wonder the general public looks down on thirdgens and models don't sell.
i tried almost a year ago on here to get a company to make some various thirdgen models but it would have cost over 100k to get it rolling and with little backing i dropped the idea. i doubt you will ever see a large company take on a truly nice thirdgen model anytime soon.

One thing that gets me is out of all of the Super cars made in the 80's & 90's no one ever made the Firehawk, in any kind of model kit or Die-cast...
