1987 Formula with T/A ground effects?

Car: 87 Fomula, bought new, October 86
Engine: 305 Quadrajet,
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9bolt now in, starting on body work
1987 Formula with T/A ground effects?
In late 1986, while driving my new 87 Formula, I pulled into a shopping center parking lot and saw an 87 Formula that had the complete ground effects from a T/A, but with the Formula hood, wheels, and decals, in overall blue, the same as my stock color. This was in Peoria, IL.
I didn't get to talk to the guy driving but the whole car looked extremely well done if it wasn't a factory offering.
Anybody ever heard of such a car or option package on a Formula?

It sounds like either:
A) someone hada Trans Am or GTA and installed a Formula Hood.
B) someone installed the ground effects from a TA onto their Formula
B sounds more logical,
