I was at a junk yard and found a 1984 Pontiac Firebird. 4cyl, manual, and not much else. I was looking at the engine and noticed it had the paddle mirrors. I was going to go back and grab them, but the car was covered in some kind of textured paint and the mirrors weren't power. If they had been power, I definately would have bought them. I keep wondering if I should have grabbed them or not. What do y'all think? Are they worth anything? Can they be converted to power?

I'ce seen non/remote or power paddle style mirrors advertised as base mirrors for '82-'84 Camaros(not exactly sure if true).I've always been of the thought the base mirrors were black non remote version of the mirrors that are common to Camaros and Firebirds.Maybe worth checking into though.
I found some pictures of the DD9 Euro mirrors, and that's not what those mirrors were. They had the same shape glass as the regular mirrors, they weren't square like the DD9s. They were not remote either.
