How much can I get for my MSE?

For years now I've been doing all my wrenching outside. I also work after hours and weekends on other peoples stuff to make extra cash...OUTSIDE! I'm just sick and tired of it! I'm tossing around the idea of selling my MSE to pay off some debt and build a shop. My question is, what do you think I can get out of my car? It's #53 with 72,000 original miles, carbed 305, auto, A/C, tilt, cruise, PW, Tallon suspension, and Recaro seats. I have the original Mecham paperwork but no window sticker. The whole car is very clean showing only minimum wear here and there. The paint job is about 4 years old and looks good from 10 ft. We painted it in my buddies shop. So, how much is it worth? Will I be able to find another one later on? Will I be kicking myself for letting it go? Or will the value of my shop and being able to work on stuff inside offset everything. I plan on going into business for myself sometime doing minor mechanical repairs and custom stuff. I also work on ATV's, personal watercraft, and other small engines. What do you think I should do?

Re: How much can I get for my MSE?

U just gotta really think about what u want more, a clean MSE, or a clean new shop. But the down side is, good luck finding another clean MSE in 10 years ya know lol. Id say keep the car but thats just because i hear about a couple of the cars my father used to own and he kicks himself for selling ya know. He did own a Baldwin Motion Chevelle at one time and two fuel injection mid year vettes, cars worth (now) more than the house he lives in probably lol. not saying that a MSE will reach that kind of level but you just never know. Good luck bud

P.S. and if u do sell it just keep close track of it, and is that another MSE sittin in the weeds back there lol

I'm near Mountain Home, AR. I got into a discussion about the one in the weeds some time ago. It's a Daytona 500 hardtop.

Re: How much can I get for my MSE?

Since this is an opinion based thread, I can see it going nowhere but down. Nobody can tell you what to do, it's your decision, not ours. Also, without seeing the car and being official certified appraisers, what we say means nothing. Based on that, I need to close this before it gets ugy. Sorry.
