I recently picked up a 92 Z28. From the info I can find on the web they made approx 70,xxx camaros total for 92. According to the VIN on the car its the 60,xxx to roll of the line. Heres whats wierd. The build date on the door is 7/92, which is pretty late in a production year. The car is an L98, G80, G92, N10 car. It definately has the rough cast Corvette intake runners and black valve covers. According to the info on the web there were approx 5100 Z coupes built for 92. Would there be any way to find out if this car was indeed one of the last few hundered or so to roll off the line. Either way its kinda neat to know it was one of the last 10,xxx built. The car is Purple Haze metallic, I couldnt find any info on the # of Purple Zs built, only that they're approx 8,xxx purple camaros total. Any insight on this would be greatly appreicated.

The last day of production was 8/27/92, so you're car was built within the last 30-60 days of production.

Does the car have silver stripes on it??

unfortunately it is not a Z03 car, so there are no stripes

 

How many miles on the car. Purple Z's were pretty rare.

The car has 121,xxx on it. I know it seems high, but the car was a well maintained driver. The interior is almost flawless. The exterior is an 8 out of 10. Has some dings which are being PDR'd tommorrow. It needs to be buffed out. Overall its in great shape, and its all original except for the usuall wear items (exhaust, battery, etc) Never modified, appears to be never beat on.
